This technique is fit for any materials (plastic, glass, metal, wood, leather, ceramic). It is the most popular and most economic printing method. The dye is transferred from the printing plate via a pad onto the surface to be imprinted. The pulvinate silicon pad carries the dye from the plate in order to transfer it to the material surface. As the pad is elastic, it can adapt to the shape of the surface.
Pad printing is a method primarily used for small overprints on pens, lighters, bottle openers, key fobs and many, many more.
